Many of the Mayan people, rich
with knowledge passed onto them
through generations.

Maya, and the Mayan Community
are very close knit, and families
within many areas of Mexico and
especially the Riviera Maya. They
are a very proud nation of  people
and happy to carry on their basic
lifestyle and community
upbringings.

They are never considered
materialistic people, and
although we are living in a forever
changing world, Maya’s are happy
to remain firmly rooted to their
heritage and culture in villages all
over the Yucatan Peninsula,
Chiapas, Guatemala, Belize, etc.

Many crafts are still observed
within some of the villages, and
Artesania or Souvenirs originating
from local villagers are hand
crafted. Hammocks are still widely
handmade, and obviously used as
an everyday necessity  within their
homes.
