Community Maya: The Mayan People of the Riviera Maya
Coba. Riviera Maya Photo Album
It is one of the few Mayan Maya
communities with Ancestral roots
going back over many
Coba is also unique, because
most of the buildings still remain
in their natural environment from
when they where first excavated.
Which really adds to the appeal of
most visitors exploring Coba?

NoHoch Mul (Large Hill in Maya)
remains one of the few Pyramids
where people are still able to
climb. The panoramic view of the
site, and beyond, gives you a true
perspective to the vast size of
Coba and surrounding
communities.

The large lagoons at Coba are
home to the local fresh water
crocodiles, which the people of
the community have become
accustomed to their presence.

For a truly amazing culture tour
Coba Mayan Village will leave an
everlasting effect in your life!
